Necklaces, purses, bangles, rings and earrings. i just LOVE them so much. So here are my new favorite picks, some i bought by myself, some were birthday presents, which are soooo awesome thank you all who gave me such pretty bling :)

My top picks would be that studded black purse and the snakeskin purple-black bag, also the blue charm bracelet, the studded bangles, and the blackbird ring (yes doesnt it just remind u of the beatles? )

I think this would be a fun list to do. Obviously these 10 points do not describe my 16 years of life that clearly, however I promise it'll give you the slightest idea of it :)

Let's get this started shall we, this'll be a long one.

1. I sleep late, and wake up later. This is a bad habit, i command myself to stop this immediately.

2. I do the weirdest stuff; I would pour an almost-finished bottle of shampoo (and alike, such as soap, lotion, even food) into a new one, just to throw away the bottle into the trash can immediately. I'll get a fit when the whole content won't go in completely, and use them all up instead. I hate almost-empty containers.

3. I write to-do list for EVERYTHING. it's ridiculous and a few of my friends can't believe i do this. I have a lot of notebooks finished for genuine proof.

4. I can't sleep without a blanket. And am only talking about sleeping at night. Even when it's hot. When it gets unbearably hot, i would only cover one leg with a blanket. I like knowing that i'm safe and covered :)

5. I used to hate onions, but am learning to like it, otherwise i know id be a horrible cook in the future.

6. I will never eat anything with red beans in it. BAD red beans, it's grainy and just yuck.

7. 7 is my lucky number. It had always been :)

8. I still have lots of my stuffed animals and dolls displayed in my room. I had like 100 of them but downsized them :'(( a while back. My goal is to cut the number down to 30, little step by little step....

9. One thing I will have to do in a few years from now: I want to stay at that hotel (darn i forgot what Hotel it was, nice going Jen) which advertisement had an animal starred in it, and a guy who supposedly owns that pet, reserved a hotel room for the pet, and asked for a number of luxurious stuff to be ready. I remember seeing this scene where the bathroom showed the ocean thru the windows. It was just beautiful and I know I will have to stay there at least once. I do remember that hotel being in Hong Kong. if anyone knows, please notice me ASAP!

10. I find that I like to walk my dog at night. Except that one time when suddenly the electricity in the neighborhood were out. It scared the living hell outta me! Pitch black and I thought i was in space for a good 2 sec.

Well, i might renew this list cause so far I think its rubbish, and it makes ME look rubbish as well. :) see you, cuties.

I'm sorry sorry sorry I haven't been posting anything the last few MONTHS. omg i feel dreadful. Year 11 has been very evil, vicious and unforgiving to me, therefore my creativity had been taken away from me by force. :O i know! i haven't even read a full novel since the start of year 11. NOT ONCE. the only novel I'm carrying with me right now is The Year of Living Dangerously. The movie was great, but the novel is on the bridge of a boredom breakdown!

Anyways, I'll have to update you all on what's been going on. The big thing is that I've moved house! I now live in a slightly bigger space and a slightly more comfortable atmosphere. Besides the unfriendly neighbors surrounding us ( i feel a bit alienated), the morning and night air is dead chilly which is really nice, we get fogs every so often, and it's not as polluted as the house before. Too bad, my family absolutely LOVED our previous neighbors. : (

So that means i get my own bathroom and a bedroom for me to decorate. Isn't that the most exciting thing ever!? It's time to get down to business. Oops i already did that, cause I've been living in this new house for about 4 months now. (wow has it really been THAT long????)

And the idea here is that I would like to take you my readers ( if i have any, hi Belinda you might be reading this, but i know there can only be 2 other people who would read this crap i put on the big wide spread of cyberspace) for an exclusive room tour!!!

I was thinking of recording the whole thing but unfortunately I do not have a decent video camera at the moment. I'm craving for a canon HD like Mitchell Davis' but I dont think I'll be having that before I can get my own source of income. Might as well dream on on that. Thus, i will be taking pictures and posting them! How exciting, the original, old, boring way! We'll have to deal with it people, as I am still a student who cares more about buying Korean CDs just to get those itsy bitsy smallies photobooks inside, rather than buying a video camera for the sake of my blog nor youtube channel.

No worries, I will make sure I clean my room, and do a very detailed work on it! I will also include my favorite pieces, even the smallest ones and I'll try to include the prices, where to get 'em, other colors available, etc.

Note. My room is still in construction. Meaning i have not got everything that I had been planning on having in my dream room since I was a lil kid. This includes a bean bag, a shag rug, and to have my posters put up. I suppose if i do chores for another 3 years of my life, my parents would let me have em. Idk, anything would be nice!

STAY TUNE, I'LL BE POSTING IN ANOTHER FEW DAYS. or weeks. blame year 11s chemistry and physics machine projects!

gah, yer its been a LOONG TIME since i last posted anything. not even a dot. but im back. ive been gone to study for the exams. well, its all over BABY! im back and im back for good. i dont wanna say it now, but i have transformed. why? well let's see..

i have got my ears RE pierced. mum did 'em. YAYE~~

on the same day, she took out alienage stuff out of my ear lobes. there ya go, my first operation

not cool, that hurt. btw i still have the stitches on :D

i got my hair straightened for good. man shuda done this a loong time ago.

no its not pin straight, thank God. its how i like it.

exams are over, i got those circles under my eyes removed. HAH~

i have some hip hop dance lessons going on with a few of my mates.

its friggin AWESOME!

im getting my braces taken off this week. ooo yeaaa thats what im talkin'bout.

AND OMG I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT SAY THESE ONES FIRST

i went to japan and wwowww i know i gotta study there in the future!

and my dearest, dearest Grandpa died. much love :')

i believe hes in a much better place.

Drink Enough Water!

Just because summer is over, does not mean the heat is gone with it. The biggest problem that teenagers and super busy people have these days is not drinking enough water. I have to say I have the same problems, and I do think its really really bad. I can't seem to drink much. I drink coke and other sweet drinks like tea and ice chocolate, but not enough water. It's really easy to get water at my house, its in the fridge so all I have to do is walk there with a glass in my hand.

So... I am trying to fix my bad bad habit and drink more everyday. As you all may know, 8 glasses a day is a must! Even though you're not thirsty. I am personally a person who doesn't get thirsty easily, so I guess that's why.

Here are some problems that will scare you, which are likely to happen if you don't drink enough water:

1. Dehydration

2. Acne

3. Body Toxins kept in the body

4. Joint and back pains

5. BAD SKIN!!!! dry and flaky skin.ew.

6. Cold sores (yes its associated with a virus but if u drink enough, it is less likely to happen to you)

7. Slow down metabolism

8. Loss of concentration

9. Tiredness

10. Kidney problems

11. AND EXTRA BODY FAT.

there are more of those. but those are the ones i could think of. I have to admit it scared me ENOUGH. just grab a glass and drink some water, would ya?

I do not know why i do this, its just that i do.

I figured out that there is a much more fun way to listen to music.

1. go to youtube and search for a song u like (i searched for BLG's The First One)

2. go to ur itunes and find the exact same song (The First One-BLG)

3. This step is a bit hard. turn on both of the songs in Youtube and iTunes at the same time.

4. Put the volume on pretty high.

5. If u want, u can also put the youtube song 1 second behind the youtube one, and smaller volume.

Result: You get a special LIVE effect!!! Because of the second song works as the echo you get at a concert and it gives the sensation of a more dramatic sound system. It actually works, try it! The bigger the volume, the more sensation you will get.

Whatr u waiting for? Turn it up and dance to your favorite song!

and so i was searching for "cute lip balms" cuz u know, those ones which are packaged in cupcakes, ice cream pint and soda cans are justt aaaaaarrrrr idk squeal making. and so yes i dipped (haha yea) my cursor to the search button and BOOM amazing cute lipbalms popped up and i was like, WHOA OMGOMG LET ME LIVE IN THIS PAGE GOOGLE PLEASE. i know, im pathetic sumtimes but thts just me. and then i was done drooling over page 1 and was ready to go on salivating thru pages 2. and guess what, the page number 2 (and after a while i realized, page numer 3 and 4 and 5 and blaaaa) shows the EXACT layout and images of the same layout and images from page 1~

i was sooo angrry. i mean, seriously all of them looked like this. ALL OF THE PAGES! (as u can see i only put the printscreen pic of the ends of the pic, but u can still see that the NUMBER OF THE PAGE CHANGES BUT THE IMAGES DONT.)

Actual Nail Art- Bow/Ribbon!

What You Need:
-Coral/Red/Orange/Pink nail polish (thats a lot of slashes ahha)
-Gold nail polish
-black nail polish
-tape (if u dont have steady hand or this is new to u)
-pearl pink nail polish for the bow
- tooth pick
-Base coat
-Top coat

1. Apply base coat, i use OPI start to finish
2. Paint ur whole nails ur choice of coral/red color, wait til dry. i use tropical temptation by revlon
3. add the black tips, if u want to, use the tape as guide or barrier, i dont use tapes anymore :D. wait til dry. i use the face shop's black.
4. dot the gold ones with the ends of ur toothpick (i have a toothpick with round flat bigger in diameter than the other end which is pointed). make 3 dots accordingly. wait til dry. i use pink punch by the face shop.
5. make the bows/ribbons with the tooth pick, put 4 dots of pearly pink polish, wait till its a bit tacky, and then swipe ones across each dot to the center of the ribbon. i use one of my the face shops again.
6. Put a dot in the center of ribbon with the same polish.
7. Put on top coat. again, my start to finish by OPI.

and voila, youre done! how easy that is~ but u do need practice to master it :)

My First Silver

My mum had had this silver nail polish from red earth from a looong time ago (i checked, ive seen it since like 6th grade). Its never been opened, and i knew immediately that it was a gift, my mum doesnt wear nail polish if they arent red, orange, or brown -_-

SO. since ive been kind of crazy about nail stuff lately, i decided to adopt it into my nail polish collection. Honestly its standing out really awkwardly in my bunches of calm colored polishes... i never thought i would use it until today. So the story starts today when i was supposed to change my nail color ever friday night(( thts like, yesterday) BUT i fell asleep. hence i didnt recolor my lavender nails. So today after going out with my folks, i wanted to change it into Revlon's Tropical Temptation which i just bought a week ago. However i was too lazy to go on another nail routine, its way too long and id rather watch Youtube tonight. So i picked up a random color, and i got this red earth silver one! instead of re coloring (removing, reshaping, buffering, putting on base, putting on coat 1, coat 2, waiting for like almost 200000 hours, and a top coat), i just added the silver on to the tips. So far, i am kind of pleased of how they look. never put on silver ones before, now i can say i HAVE.

Just a small bottle, around 9.5 ml as it says on the package :)

oh wow i dont know why i never mentioned this song / vid in my blog. I have been in love with this song back since last year, and plus TOP is in it, how can it NOT be appealing? his part is where he raps during the middle of the song, and gummy sings faintly in the background. the ending is so sad :'( but TOP looks amazingly hot and handsome during the whole scenes. Oh and look at how he grasps and hugs the photo in the end, and goes back and forth crying. i cant get over how cute he looks there~

Important: Hair Vitamins

---___--- well duh. ignore that. its kinda awkward, anyway lets start over

I think every person need to apply hair vitamins every so often.. i dont recommend doing it everyday, as i think it's not THAT necessary.. 3 times a week is enough, and the amount that you use depends on how long and thick ur hair is. Here i have the ones that are in plastic round things, i never really drink pills for hair, nails etc but it might be interesting.

Well the idea is to keep ur hair undamage (or to repair it, if its already damaged) from heat appliances, dry weather, split ends. etc all those crappy crap. It's best to apply AFTER you wash your hair, either when its still kinda damp or when it's completely dry. I honestly use only 1/3 of the product in that one lil round thing, and i think thts more than enough, cuz it kinda weighs my hair down and too much will result in greasy looking hair.

Plus, it's cheap :)

1. OPI Start to Finish
i blogged about this thing a few posts ago, scroll down to see~ its really great, no nail polish goes great without it. and i mean, NONE.

2. Vaseline Lotion- Aloe and Cucumber
it smells heavenly! GAAAHHH i cant get over how awesome it smells, its super fresh smelling and everything. Oh and the lotion isnt green (people get the idea that its green, its NOT. its just normal white lotion with GREEN packaging). And an update, i have really really really dry skin and this works great, and im trying to be religiously putting on lotion everyday after showers, so thats like twice a day. I bought this in 100ml 2 days ago.. and guess what i now only have half left. GAH. i think ill buy the 400ml or sumthin that they have, next week cuz i know ill run out of it REALLY fast.

3. Clean & Clear Extra Strength Blemish Treatment Gel
i get zits right before i have my period every month. i know, its super annoying i might as well die. So i found one in my room (dunno how it got there) and i used it, kinda with desperate hopes the zits will disappear. yea so i did that and put a washcloth with ice cubes inside it, dab it on my face to kinda cool off the zits... the next day the zits were all gone! no redness what so ever. :D btw the packaging doesnt look like in the pic, i have another version, thats like the closest i can get for the pic. sam with the vaseline lotion.

4. Shell Lip Balm
Mum bought me this from Australia like, last year. I have the pink one, on the left. Apparently it contains organic ingredient, it used to smell vanila-ish, now the scent is gone, but its okay. I love it, love it love it love it. it has the greates texture, goes on clear and idk its just awesome.

2 posts ago, i talked about me wondering whether i am a lip balm addict. Guess what, i did the unspeakable: i actually did an online test on it, and here is what my result says:

Be careful! You're not quite a full-blown addict, but you definitely have some lip balm dependency issues. You've found your favorite brand, and your lips definitely feel different on days when you don't have your "fix." Maybe your colleagues have even started to whisper when they see your reach for that little tub of Carmex you keep next to your computer. The good news is, you still understand the concept of moderation. Today, try to keep your lips balm free, or merely accept your fate as an addict.

That isnt so bad... ill accept my fate as a lip balm addict. No biggie... plus, i have 12 lip balms i have to finish before they get rotten and lose the scents. gotta finish on them fast. eh. :P

I have a new puppy, dont ask what the breed is cuz i really have no idea... the vet says it must be a mix, but he has the most pretty black and white pattern ive ever seen. i dont have the picture with me right now, but ill show you very very soon.

Anyways if you are wondering why we named him Jacko, well at first it was originally monty but a friend of mine has a cat named monty and i prefer to try and change my puppy's name, as fast and effectively as possible. We named him jacko for 2 very important reasons:

1. He arrived at my house 2 days after Michael Jackson's death was announced
2. Jacko's coat is black.... AND white. just like MJ was originally black and changed to white for specific reasons.wow.. (please dont think of it in a bad way, my family loves MJ so much, and we appreciate his music, and i personally think he's an amazing entertainer, and a great father).

so we think it would be great to name the dog Jacko cuz honestly i think MJ would have been glad to know that we continue remembering him, using his nick name for our lovable dog's name. Our dog is very charming, so i think MJ would have let us anyway. pfft im such a know-it-all.

Although i heard that MJ got that nickname for being kinda "wacko". as in wacko jacko. which i think is kinda...weird. but anyways, MJ will be remembered forever in my family. His death was so dramatic and so sad, i cried watching the memoriam at Staples Center in Television.

RIP Michael Jackson. Love, Love Love. :)

... i've been doing a bit of thinking (thats funny right, some people, including me, always says 'a bit' of sumthing which usually means 'a lot' of sumthing). so anyways ive been doing a bit/a lot of thinking on my lip balm-applying routine, and i think i might be addicted to lip balm.

HAR HAR laugh it out, big guy. no, im serious. dont look at the page like that, im not loony, okay? it does exist! an addiction for anything can exist! and apparently many people suffer from it also. but, i think im not that far into the addiction so i dont give a poo about it.. but eh, ill just list in the symptoms here (which i came up with, sorry im so lazy to go back to researching) so that maybe you can figure out if you're addicted also.

1. you apply lip balm every 10-20 minutes. or less :O ---> i do this
2. you get excited when you see stacks of lip balms in drugstore----> okay, guilty
3. becomes a helpless lip licker ----> nah, i dont like eating my lip balm ewh
4. takes a tissue, wipes off ur balm after 5 mins, just to re apply more---> i kinda do this
5. cant sleep without putting lip balm ---> i notice i start to do this
6. wake up in the middle of the night JUST to put on lip balm---> im not THAT crazy, so no
7. have a ton collection of lipbalms and display them everychance you get to admire them ---> just the lip smackers one, yes
8. can't function well with out some lip balm---> not me.
9. always have lip balm wherever you go---> half of the time, i do have it with me.
10. have tried about 10 lipbalm brands ----> no, i tried like 4 brands.

and many more.

so are you a lip balm addict??? if you wanna stop, u shall.. if not, (and if its not THAT bad) i dont think it'll be much of a problem.. no worries!

i learnt to do SHINee's Replay Dance in a few days. I am ecstaticccc!!! and im now very comfortable doing it cuz i know it backwards and forwards! :D i learnt it from this iDance vid in youtube but then changed to their very own, looking at them boosts my hyperness and it seemed to be working a teeny bit faster :)

Right now. this hour this minute about 40 seconds ago i was learning another one of SHINee's dance, this one is called Love Like Oxygen. I just got to the part around 1 minute, and have been playing it over and over, dancing around like crazy for 1 hour. wow. btw i use this vid which is already mirrored. and another one that is slowed. lol their voice sounds so weird in slow motion.

Ok you might. but i was hoping you wont. It's not a waste of cyber space and I gathered the photos for awhile now, about since a year back. If you do have an account, please take some time to comment,, it will mean the world to me, really..

I use my Dad's (i think its mine now, since im in charge to clean it, take care of it, and they dont give a poo to what i do with the camera as long as it still exists a.k.a not lost) Canon Rebel xsi if im not mistaken. In Indonesia they call it Canon 450D, and I think it's really great. When I went to Beijing I didnt bring it tho, i used my Mum's Red Sony one. It's okay, i guess.

It is supposed to be moisturizing my lips, but i find it very buttery (well duhh) idk if many people like having butter on their lips but i don't give a poo about it. It looks very nice, with a lil buit of shine, BUT without any sparkle. I figured to buy it to 'raise HIV/AIDS awareness while having a luscious lip butter that softens, smoothes and has a fresh, red berry scent' (how it says on their website). It retails at $8, it actually tastes nice, really. I have this for almost a year now, bought it in San Francisco last Summer. And i still have a LOT of it. contents: 10 ml. Plus, it has the most awesome packaging :)

Holiday's Almost Over

I have only one more day before I have to go back to school as an 11th grader. What do i do?
I mean it obviously is kind of exciting. But honestly, school works and exams doesn't interest me. At all. None.

So what i do to keep my self from avoiding the idea of coming back to school, is cope. I buy things that are necessary for school, and because i love shopping, it definitely helps. I bought a new pair of black shoes for school since my old one is disastrous looking. I bought Scholl! I really think Scholl is a very long lasting brand, the quality is dependable and definitely comfortable. The only thing i worry about is the fact that i always accidentally step on the back side of the shoes and make it flat all the time. idk, it kinda ruins the shoes forever. Ima try not to do that this year ;) changes are good, right?

And i bought these really cute Hello Kitty pens that im loving to death. One is shaped like a paint tube which cap opens up to reveal the actual pen point. How cute is that?! and the other is one fat body of a pen with the selection of 10 colors. No joke, it's ten, i counted. More colors than a rainbow got! The packaging is really cute, theyre white with pink hello kitties on them. I even cut up some white rhinestones forming the letter J and stick it there, it looks ADORABLE.

And thats about it, im really easy to please. Tomorrow's school, and im just excited to see my friends again.

Time to Cut Them Down

The holidays is almost over and that means no more nail polish. Uh uh, no more. The school has this 'some kind' of strict rules against nail polish, jewelry and pretty stuff like that. Nevertheless, i have to clean up all my polish before monday. Thank god its friday :DD

I cut down my nails on my left hand because im going back to guitar lessons now that July has come and greet me. And i found it incredibly hardddd to hold down the frets with long fingernails... No worries, my right hand nails are still kinda long. I know it looks a bit weird having different length nails on each hands, but watever, like i care... it kinda looks a bit unique tho .

anywayss... the fact that i had to cut them down, i had to remove my beautiful blue polish and change into my other one. I chose my Do You Lilac it? by OPI. its gorgeous. I bet the picture is a few posts below.. (scroll down and try finding it, if you care.)

Secondhand Nail Polish- yes or no?

Recently I have been very interested in nail polish, and have been thinking of getting as many as possible, as fast as possible. Then, coincidently, a good friend of mine, Dita offered me her nail polish. I decided, why not? Bring them in and ill take a look at them! She brought about 7 different shades of nail polish to my house for me to consider. She would sell them to me at Rp 10 000 each (about $1). Which is a great price considering how much she still have left in the bottles. Im guessing she only used half of them often, and the rest she used no more than 3 times. She still had plenty!!

So here is a list of what she had in hand, i cant remember all of them, but here it goes:
1. The Face Shop TOP coat (I've bought OPI's start to finish so i wouldn't need another top coat)
2. The Face Shop deep red (I've already had Revlon's Exotica)
3. The Face Shop 'Pink Lady' (which doesn't look pink at all.. its gold with a tint of creamy orange in it, which i bought)
4. The Face Shop deep orange (i decided I'm not quite ready for an orange polish)
5. Revlon Slate (its a brown shade that I've been looking forward to, so i bought this one also)
6. The Face Shop gold 1 (its a brownish gold, which I'm not very fond of, especially not in the summer)
7. The Face SHop gold 2 (looks a lot similar to gold 1 but a shade darker)

I ended up spending 20 000 ($2) for 2 gorgeous nail polish which still consists about 95% of the original content. I mean, thats a great deal, because come to think of it, if i bought theses two nail polishes brand new out of the store, it could have cost me around 70 000 ($7).

About how you should consider whether a secondhand nail polish is acceptable or not, you should probably think of how the colors are looking. Make sure the consistency is still in great condition, the content not clumped together, or not dissolving into some other stuff that doesn't look decent, the bottle still good, how old the polish it, how much there is still in the bottle (considering price), and of course think of the person who used it. I personally know that this friend of mine is a clean, hygienic, and organized person. So i have no doubt that using her polish won't do anything bad to my nails. :)

my first OPI!!

i have finally got my hands on OPI nail polish!!! my mum had been very generous and let me have a couple bottles of OPIs..
I bought the Start to Finish bottle which acts as base coat, top coat, and nail strengthener.. i have heard great review on this product and im glad i have it now. base coat and top coat are essentials for a great nail polish color.

and then i also bought OPI's Do You Lilac it? and its just gorgeous. It's matte purple and come to think of it, is the perfect color for me since my favorite colors are purple and grey. I have it on right now and its really pretty to see.

overall from my first experience of OPI nail products, i agree with all those thousands of other beauty product review people that it is by far the best nail lacquer ever. Thefaceshop's nail polish are great, really. But OPI is amazing. it has a big, dense brush, perfect for smooth application. Also the Start to Finish product works really well on strengthening the nail, protects, and making the color look a lot shinier.

and next time if i have extra money i'd definitely try and get some more. i have a huge crush on this gorgeous grey : you dont know jacques!

last night i manicured my hands and put on THEFACESHOP's BL603 on my left hand (i like to do one hand per day to prevent me from being paranoid abt them chipping. dont ask ;)

and there are pics on how they look like on my nails and in the bottle.the only annoyance i suffer from this is it is very sheer, i needed to put on 2 thick coats to make it look decent HA.

Like i said, i don't use make up that much... i only use them when there is special occasion and even that wouldn't include eye shadow and stuff. im very simple, i just love to collect make up, they look really pretty! im still 16, so i really am not supposed to spend a lot of my time putting on make up, plus i am a basketball player, and i do sweat... that's why i dont use Make up that often...

BUT if anyone asks what make up brand i love.. i would have to pick 2...
NUMBER ONE is MAC.

Because it looks just flawless, the colors would pop like crazy and it will look amazing on anybody... however their pricing is a bit exaggerated. i have heard about how their standard lipglass costs $14 with twice the amount of dazzle glass which costs 18 bucks. i mean, what is up with that. i think that is a rip off. but if anyone is willing to pay that much for a lipgloss, no one is stopping you, really. and their brushes (i know they are amazing and smooth) come on they cost like sooo much its ridiculous sumtimes.

THE SECOND ONE is Korea's top make up brand which is THEFACECHOP.

i buy all my nail polish from there and they never chip. NEVER. well once it did when i was playing with a kitchen knife, but then again, KITCHEN KNIFE.--__-- their brushes are OKAY... some are really good, and with great prices... I really like their powder products, i would love to try their blush or something.. next time, i guess!!

well that's about it... urgh make up is so expensive :(

Honestly i DONT use make up that often. Everyday, at home i only have my moisturizer and lip smacker on, and that's it, nothing more. Period...

However... I am beginning to like putting on make up and i am going to mention my favorite (and only) make up materials that i have.. don't get bored, okay? *laughs shyly*

last year my family and i went to the States, bla bla bla and i got my hands on a lip smacker. and yea, so it is true, that when u have one (or in this case find one), eventually you WILL want to have more, and MORE.

i have been a victim of lip smacker... and i bought quite a lot, i think I bought 15 or sumthing and went back shocking my friends with them, gave them a few, too :) right now i have 9 with me.. i gave 6 of them to a bunch of friends right after i went back from the holidays. i really want to be like those people who get to collect like, 200 Lip Smackers. but looking at how difficult it is to find it here in Indonesia, i might as well forget it -_-

Well the first thing i notice about lip smacker is the cute packaging. it makes me feel like a lil kindergarten kid again, it is sooo colorful and fun! i and then... i notice how amazing their scents are. It made me feel like i want to eat it! like, whoa.. :DD

so anyway.. here is what i have in my hands now:

honestly idk whether im excited to go back to school, maybe because this summer i have nothing to do. my life revolves around youtube, you see. Currently Addicted: Scented Soaps

i know its kinda late, since i got back from the holidays already 2 weeks ago, but In bali i bought some nature scented bar soaps. The packaging says Bali Soap on it and it looks really cute so i bought them! haha they are in:

Mango,
Cempaka,
Jasmine,
Vanilla,
Cinnamon, (dunno why i bought this one, i hate cinnamon)
Ylang Ylang,
Lemongrass,

and idk what else i bought a lot. haha... well my favorite is the cempaka one, i have no idea whats that in English, but it smells incredible. got that? INCREDIBLE!!!! the downside on these soaps is that they will only last a week, cuz yea theyre pretty small and everything. but they smell really good and the smell lasts really long.

to get the idea of how it looks like, here is a pic of one of them, which is the vanilla one!

i dont recommend the mango one because the little pieces in the soap kinda hurt. -_- lol its supposed to be exfoliating or sumthing. Anyways, i used up the cempaka one and the little pieces in it didnt hurt like how the mango one does.. i might as well throw the mangos one away. LOL KIDDING!!! :P

anyways back to my focus on this particular post.. as you can see a few days ago i posted on about how i wanted to buy the zebra painting so badly.... guess what? I GOT IT!!!! hahahha yea im probably the happiest girl on the planet right NOW cuz i really am, so ecstatic about this painting. hha and the fact that it is HUMONGOUS. really, really big. when i saw it from the road the other day in the car, i was guessing it was about poster sized, but no, it goes up to my chest and wider than across my shoulders (back). even wider than my brother's broad shoulders i think.....

whoa its just amazing... and its not at all pricey! i mean, i suppose ill be able to make one just like it at home, you see im very into painting stuff, ill show you sumtimes. and eh, im just too lazy to do this one and im afraid of messing it up cuz ill be putting it on display in my new room. so yes i got this one, mum and dad were being really generous, didnt even have to beg to get this one, i think cuz they know how i just REALLY crave it inside.

Anyways, it really is gorgeous, just black and white with perfect lighting and shadowing, and it cost me Rp 300 000, which is about U$30. not bad right? i mean, its really BIG. and at first the guy said it's 500 000, which is a lot for just THAT painting, i mean COME ON it only has 2 colors, how expensive can they be, right? and he said for bule/foreigners they sell for 750 000, pfft thts just ridiculous. then they bargained (my dad and the guy,) and eventually in the end we got it for 300 000. I personally think thts a great deal. i LOVE it. Absolutely in love with it, my driver will bring it back to jakarta in our Toyota Kijang, so we dont need to ship it or anything. it'll be so cool displayed in my new room, i just CANNOT WAIT.

New Polish!!

yes i have new polish on. actually theres a story behind this one, so listen on.
woke up verrrrryy early in the morning today so my mom and i can go to the salon. in bali here theres this one salon we always go to, like, perhaps 2 times a week just because i like it there and its pretty cheap. Cheaper than the salon we usually go to in Jakarta that is. lol.

so yea we went there to get our hair done. had a creambath for our hair and then a manicure and a pedicure. i decided on a bright purple for the finger nails and a nice creamy hot pink for the toes. at first i was worried on how the polish would look against my skin tone, as u can see im not the very white ones, so some colors dont look good on me. But actually they look really nice... i like them veerry much.

okay so here is where all went wrong. when i just finished everything, all those treatments, i wanted to open up this cookie they always give us (along with a cup of tea). the cookie had a wrapper sealed with that sticky sticker looking plastic, so i had to try to open that seal right. and what happened was i pulled at it too tightly and it went STRAIGHT to my left thumbnail. idk out of all the spot i have on my hands, it landed RIGHT.THERE. so you see i do what i do when those things happen. I PANICKED. so instead of peeling that sticker off my nail slowly, i just quickly Pulled at it like a stupid idiot and ended up messing up the edge of the finger nail polish. :((((

and i felt HORRIBLE. there i was not even out of the salon yet. i could have asked the girl to re do that one nail for me, but how could i, she looked just oh so busy with her costumers, and i dont wanna let her down, she put real effort on mine! so i went along with it, feeling absolutely AWFUL about it.

as if that wasnt enough, just i was beginning to accept that imperfect situation, i fell asleep in the car and accidentally sat on my thumb. THE SAME THUMB. when i woke up, i realized it was all a mess. well it was almost dried completely, but since its like a big slop of thick layers of polish, it was easily ruined to the slightest touch. my thumb nail look like this now. its very sad, i know. i hate even looking at it...

i dont know, maybe its very hard to see, but as you can PROBABLY see, there are bumps and like, some kind of pattern on hte first pic, where i made the marks when i sat on it in the car, and a TINY bit chipped on the very edge (2nd pic) when i accidentally sticked a cookie wrapper on there. yes i like things to be perfect. especially my nails.

Lady Gaga's Cute Bow

I was looking thru youtube as what i do everyday... and then came across a few videos tutoring about how to do a lady Gaga's hairstyle, which is her infamous bow. haha as you can see below i attempted to do one with my own hair, and lemme tell you it wasnt that easy. first of all my hair is layered -_- also, it's wavy, not straight like Gaga's. and there are another million reason why it didnt work out as planned. But overall i think it does look like a bow, doesnt it?

Decided to try out a few manicure ideas and make some of my own, and from all my tries, i have designed and did one like this:

and how did i do it? read on!
1. put on base coat all over your 10 nails
2. put on any pink color (red can be an option, i have red on right now), in this case i put on my Face Shop's silverish pink nail polish
3. and then, if you're a pro manicure-er, you can just apply the black on the edges/tips without guidelines. but im not one, so what i did was i put a piece of tape on the part i want to make remain pink, and easily put on the black polish (from the face shop) to the revealed nails
4. finally, apply coat
5. what i did to have rock hard nails which dries really quickly is i put my hands in a bowl of cold water for about one minute, and put them in the freezer for about 2 minutes. TADAH!

oh btw this was taken when i was still in Jakarta... and it was, yea,.. a school week... i had to remove all those nail polish the next day for school. :(

oh btw heres a pic on how my nails look RIGHT now, instead of the silver ish pink, i put on red. i think it looks nice, some people especially parents, said i look like a satan messenger or sumthin. pfft. parents.

as you can see my nails have grown since last week when i first applied it, so you can probably see the part in the inner edges where the nails arent colored. haha.

not a lot though... just a tiny bit, the black part on the edge of my nail.. but that really makes it weird-looking, because all you can see is the red part, and the chipped part with my nail color --___--

it looks so bad... i don't have any nail polish here in bali, but ill just go to the nearest salon and get a manicure there. im thinking, blue. Just really nice, dark, milky blue... i bet it'll look great :D

Yes, as i listed in my holiday plans a few days earlier, i mentioned on how i am desperately craving for this particular painting of a zebra. So the sensible thing to do is to keep my eyes open to every painting store that we pass by in Kuta. Thankfully after searching for SOOOOOO effin' long, I FOUND THE PERFECT ONE. omg it is really THAT perfect. some of the stores i have visited earlier have zebra paintings, just NOT that great. idk... this one looks really cool, i might get that, ill wait till my parents come on Sunday.

Anyways this is what im wondering now. Either i buy that zebra painting i saw in Kuta today, which looks similar as this one below;

or just get these 2 pictures printed out in poster sizes and then put them in 2 different ends in my new room soon ( so there are these 2 zebras in one pic, ill divide them into 2 differnt pictures and get someone to print them on a really nice poster paper in poster size. And then what ill do is just put one on one end of my room, and the other one at the other end of my room. it'll look so cute):

hm idk, ill think about the cost, and how they will fit in my new room because i'll be having light grey walls and a beatles poster which i searched for SO LONGGGGGGG in the US. i found the perfect one, ill show u just right here:

Tired as Hell.

i dont think i have ever been this tired since my first attempt to get out of my mother's womb and into this thing we call the world.
yes it is THAT tiresome. apparently i have been trying to make up all the time i am NOT spending at the gym by kayaking for 3 hours straight. haha... no worries it was a big lump of fun and we had a blast. my brother, my driver and i went kayaking in Sanur, and decided to test our nerves by going way further into the middle of the ocean.

..no i am not kidding we were very, very, very, very far away from the shore. i couldnt see anyone on the shores from where we got to. fortunately it wasnt so deep below so i wasnt scared of any sharks or something like that haha... i went to get my goggles so we could look under the water. I ACTUALLY saw a few fish... my driver keep telling me to take one of the coral rocks to bring home. HA are you kidding me, thts like the last thing i would ever do! apparently they dont get enough education on keeping nature pretty, ill need to talk to them about that i think, lol.

The weird thing is that this guy, about in his late 40s, was kayaking near the shore and braced himself to follow us away from the shores. I realized that he's chinese, or at least speak it lol. so i started talking to him in mandarin ahhahaa.... i know, my bro and my driver was laughing their ass off, and obviously the guy was impressed. i told him i learn mandarin at school and stuff, and later found out that hes here with his wife and daughter, who very carefully followed him to where we were, he was scared of being in the water i guess... it was nice because i can practice my mandarin, like when i did in Beijing with some friends on my school trip.

I eventually payed 150 for the 3 kayaks, for 3 hours, and this lil floater my driver's kid rented... it was worth every.single. penny!

I am loving The Face Shop's nail polish collection because they are reasonably priced, adequate quality, and...idk it dries fast?

I already have a few of them, which are:

1. BK901
This one is just pure black... smooth finish and everything. Love it.

2.WH001
I use this one for transparent look, or just for the shiny finish after any color i put on. I don't really recommend this one because I think its better to put on a real top coat, they break easily over time.

3. PK101
It's like a silver-ish pink, very very elegant and pretty.

4. PP404
This is basically just light purple, and it is kind of transparent, so if you want a bolder color you should apply it twice. its cute tho.

SHINee is pronounced as in 'shiny' ( just found out, haha googled it ;) )

Sohooo.. i just noticed that it is sooo hard to differentiate the 5 members of SHINee.... so i decided to investigate and google them one by one so that i wont be confused on which one is which... Personally i LOVE Taemin the most because hes so...........adorable, i cant stand it haha!! anyways first here is a link to their breakthrough video, titled Replay or Noona Nomu Yeppo...( it means older sister (noona) youre so pretty (Nomu Yeppo) aww so cute, i think a lot of guys like cute older girls.. they tend to do that in Korea i notice )

DANCE CLASS!!!!! woot!

stefanie offered me to go into dance class with her in this place called, JK (stands for Jun Ko i think, which is actually the owner) broadway and dance school.
we'll have to pay 750 000 Rp for 10 weeks (hmmm not bad)...

but we havent heard of this JUN KO person after our last visit there. Its located in Pondok Indah, he has a studio there which i think is good enough, with all those mirrors you see in the movies. haha...

I just really cant wait to start.!!! you know what? ill just text stefanie right now so she would text JunKo and ask him when the class starts... itll be awesome i can tell........... :)) oh by the way it is a hip hop dance class!

i love watching korean peeps dance to hiphop, they are so inspirational... Shinee's video for Noona Nomu Yeppo or sumthing like that. they have the greatest dance ive ever seen... i like it so much that i watch the vid on youtube almost everyday! i really wish we'll have a chance to do sumthin like tht soon in class.. woohoo!

Bad News and Good News

Bad News:

Bocky has more rash...= bad.
its getting worse day by day... ive been giving him all that cream we are supposed to take care of him with, and well..not only that it's so hard to get him to the medication process in the first place, it also seems that the cream is not enough to take down all that bad rash. I say we're supposed to get him to a much better vet, but dear Gramps doesnt agree. well sooner or later we will have to take bigger action, cuz as far as im concerned, Bocky is really suffering and the house NEEDS a guard dog... u see we here have a really big land and house so we need a dog to make sure its all safe and sound at night.....

Good News:

I was actually able to wake up at 7 this morning so we really went to the beach again and went kayaking! it was just double dose of fun and id never regret the difficulties i had to face just to wake up HA.

the beach was cool... the sand is really clean and everyone there has been nothing but nice to us... we just put our mat down in the shade, let nini get comfortable laying around on it, and off we went with 2 super cool rent-kayak... it was only like Rp.15000 per hour, but we really had to take advantage of that nicely.... thankfully i had a lifetime supply of snack in my Tod's handbag (hah you wouldnt have known, my tod's is this BIG BIG humongous black bag which fits just about everything). so We munched down those and bought a can of coke for 11 thou (pffh ridiculous!)

so far so good, dont you think?

Alright, here it goes. I am now *stranded* on one of Indonesia's most beautiful island, and itd be a bummer if i just sleep all day and do nothing. So I decided to make a list. for my Bali holidays, and also when i get home.

- i will go kayaking tomorrow if i am strong enough to wake up in the morning
- i will go to sanur, kuta, ubud, etc haha.
- i will buy something from the clothes store 'Magic Happens' simply because theyre awesome.
- i will finish 'goodnight, beautiful' by Dorothy Koomson
- i will buy a new book at Periplus
- i will take care of Bocky every day
- i will brush my teeth every morning and every night no matter how lazy i get
- i will go and pray, if i can, every night with grandma
- i will take good pictures whenever possible

and when i get baaccck... okay here is where everything gets interesting.

- i will buy about 3 more The Face Shop nailpolish
- i will have sleepovers and try out those new polishes
- i will go to my dance classes
- i will still go to my guitar classes

I went to the beach today.. and planning on going again tomorrow to go kayaking. HORRAAY!

So anyways my dog just gagged in the living room today and Dad just immediately went BOOM. poor bocky i bet he was so scared. he didnt do anything wrong...how would you feel if i yell at you when youre very very ill and about to puke? well eventually he didnt puke at all.. i guess i just gave him too much kibbles... gotta work on that soon, too much kibbles = gag.

We went to eat dinner at this Indian gourmet restaurant, Queens of India or sumthing haha i really dont know. It was really good actually, i think i ate too much i might go BOOM too soon. HA. lets hope that wont happen shall we, it wont be pretty i can tell.

Im on a mission here, where i will TRY to find this painting i had been eyeing since my last visit. its a painting of a zebra. really pretty and simple, just black and white. But i think it looks gorgeous, and DING DONG gotta have it in my new room!! unfortunately i havent found it again since. if you do find it, call meh. much appreciated, hommies.

Some people just LIE LIE LIE

ive just noticed that some people lie all the time. people around me. those that are not close to me though. i mean, my friends and i would lie sometimes, yet just for a very crucial situation and for a good reason, and we wouldnt lie to each other.

But lately ive noticed that people LIE all the time. how the hell are u supposed to live in peace knowing you've betrayed a lot of souls every.single.day? that just doesnt make any sense to me.

Some people, lie to their parents, which is sometimes normal (and which i can never do, my friends and parents would know almost immediately when i am lying to them)

YET some people just lie because they CAN. and its just so mean.

some people lie so that they wont have to go to a certain party
some people lie so that they can get money
some people lie so that they wont get someone feeling bad or get mad at them. WHICH IS utterly RIDICULOUS because sooner or later they will find out and if they think they wont be mad at them, THEY ARE VERY, VERY WRONG.
some people lie to get a way from something. which is totally mean if all they are running away from hasnt done anything wrong.

and those who lie like that, they certainly dont have any heart, and shall be burned in hell immediately. why ?
because its just mean. for instance if someone wants to invite X to a party, totally being nice. and then X tries to find the excuse that will save his life, (which idk why always seem to be a very stupid excuse such as has to go diving, has to attend 5 days of rituals in the mountains, oh COME ON GROW UP we are not that stupid!) and the worst thing is, they will find out that X was lying. how? idk...facebook? their stupidity on not even trying to hide the evidence of them lying??

the point is.... DONT WE JUST HATE THOSE MEAN PEOPLE WHO CANNOT STOP TELLING LIES!?!?!??!?!

Yeah thats right, im back in Bali.
I loveee Bali so much, even though it gets boring for me at times... I love the sandy toes i get by walking on the beach, i love the ridiculous fear i get by going on that tiny boat we sometimes hire, and i love my Bocky. Apparently bocky is ill now, well not really. Hes just been getting a few rash (?) idk but he gets itchy pretty quickly and that leads to him biting and scratching himself allover the place, resulting in horrible wounds. NOT TO WORRY IM HERE TO THE RESCUE. my grandma is such a busy bee (in a good way) she has tons of errands to do from dusk til midnight, so im here to take care of our lovely mutt.

I was forced to wake up early today. urgh the pain... and then i gave bocky a great big bath, put tons of shampoo on him and everything. YOU HAVE NO IDEA how hard it is to actually drag my dog to his bath area. Id struggle and wrestle with him, put down treats after treats like a trail from his playing area to the bath area (haha like hansel and gretel, *sigh* i used to love the story book we had at home about them). Eventually it worked. he was mortified though. oh well, one more inconvenience of being a dog,right?

And in the end we dried him off with this fluffy towel we keep for him, and put on lots of medicine to his wounds like as the vet told us to. I sometimes put Doris anti-fleas DOG powder on him, which happens to soothe all the itching. Thank goodness, cause it seems like Bocky had been losing a lot of his hair due to excessive scratching here and there. hm.... get well soon, box?

BIRTHDAY June update!

Hey, dear peeps.
my birthday was last Tuesday, almost a week ago that is.. and it went pretty swell! I had it celebrated twice, first with family on tuesday night and the second one with my bestest best best friends on friday night. I hadnt plan to invite lots of people, so i was quite happy when 12 of my very close mates turned up. But there is something ive got to share now with you guys. My friends had been very very cool to give me these gifts ( and it surprised me to hear that theyve got more, oh my! )

Keke got me this very cute t-shirt she pre-ordered in Bandung and it says "BEST FRIEND OF THE YEAR" omg how sweet is that?

Belinda and Kristina actually cooked up a lasagna at school for me during their Spanish lessons where they were supposed to cook, and really, it was just SO delicious, id hire them as my personal chefs ;)

Sharin's really sweet also, she made this really awesome video about me together with my hommies, with really great pictures and a clip of me saying 'thats awesome!' i love it! she also got me this reallyyyy cute bracelet from sass diva, its purple, totally my favorite color (hers also).

Ahmad got me this trucker hat that ive been wearing for the past 2 days haha. its so cool, its from raindrop and its in blue, with blue monsters printed at the front. my brother had been eyeing on this hat since i got it home last friday. HAH.

Zeta's present is so unique. she got me this very cute robot pencil sharpener from ak'sara bookstore (ive always wanted to buy some cute stuff from that store but until now all i buy there are books. haha). its so cool it can wind up and walk on its own, and everything! oh and she also gave me this sets of ribbons, i guess its for giftwrapping, considering it says 'you're old' about 5 million times on them. haha very funny..

Dita got me a novel by Dorothy Koomson, titled 'Goodnight, beautiful'. and indeed its a beautiful story. well ive just read about 7 chapters, but i like it so far.. In fact i have 2 other dorothy koomson's novels; the chocolate run and my best friend's girl. Both of them are quite miraculous, so i definitely will dig this one.

hmm lets see what else have we got.. oh my mum and dad gave me my first MAC make up. consisting of foundation, concealer, bronzer, and a humongous brush from the face shop. they reallly are VERY awesome. so soft and perfect on my skin!

overall i think ive got quite a pleasant birthday, but unfortunately one of my invite decided not to come, hed rather go to the year 12s prom -___- cant blame him, *COUGH*douche*COUGH*

ok i DO know that i just made a new post a few minutes ago, but i have GOT to tell u this very important thing. seriously.

its gonna be weird if i suddenly snap screaming the whole thing thts making me so excited since saturday, so ill be explaining the whole thing first.

OKAAYYY so yea i like this korean band... like my friend showed it to me months and months ago.. the name of the band is FT Island and i think theyre realllllly good.. i mean theyre only, what? high school students!! and this one guy, Choi Jong Hoon, he looks flawless, literally. this is no joke people, he really does look amazing. the others are hot too tho, like Hong Gi and MinHwan and Jaejin and WonBin, but jonghoon is just unbeatable.

he just grew his hair long and it looks a thousand times better than the short syle he usually wore.

So yea this band is in between pop and rock,w/ a lil bit of rap in it performed by WonBin. And Honggi's voice is just incredible, its hard imagining that hes only 3 years older than me! : O lol.... ok so yea and I had been looking for their CD (any one) because im such a fanatic lately. ive been looking EVERYWHERE for it. i searched in almost all music stores in Jakarta, and also in Singapore, even in Korea Town in a few states in the US! i still couldnt find it, when i asked this lovely lady who guarded the music store, she just stood there staring at me. Seriously that's just freaky. yea so the point is i was very disappointed by all that, it seemed like it is soo impossible for me to get it, EVER.

but then, i remember that i have this friend, he's Korean, and he goes to school here in Jakarta, in Australian Int. School, and i jokingly told him how i really like that band and all that, and then i asked him if its possible for him to get the CD for me when hes going back to his country. He said he'd do it, IF HE REMEMBERS. well i thot, its better than nothing, right.

and i thot he totally forgot, but then he asked , "jen your the one who wanted the CD right?" and i was like, YEAAA... can u get ittt??? and he said he'll try to find it in the airport because he. at that time, was in Korea and was going back to Jkt the following week. OMG i was soo excited, but i tried not to get my hopes high, afraid that i may not get it afterall...

about a week later...

HE TOLD ME HE GOT THE FRIGGIN CD omgomogmg i was like totally hysterical!!!!and he actually have it to me last saturday, at AIS basketball tournament. It totally made my day. But i feel kinda bad because he said i dont have to pay him back : ( but i think its pretty expensive. for me it is anyway.

THANKs sooo much to that guy cause the CD is just wonderful. I love the pictures there are lyk a ton of them! hihihi :D ive been listening to it for like the 200th time..

whoaa okay so its 1.30 now and im freaking out. why, you ask? cause tomorrow's the first of 2 days examination! omgomgomogmg immm scarredd nyehee.... ok so here;s the thing, tomorrow's exams are gonna be Math (this is bull. i understand none of it and i think im screwed) and Bahasa Indonesia (i dont really care about this one cuz my friend told me what is gonna be on it and i dont think its as life threatening as Math).

FYI dont anyone start thinking that i haven't studied anything. cause i have! and i studied pretty hard... especially on Math, i reviewed everything that is in my Mathematics notebook and lemme tell you it was NOT easy. First, the book is almost full (seriously, its not even the end of the 1st semester! Im gonna need a new book i sppose) and second, its just so hard its impossible! OMGOMG what am i gonna do?

ok here's what Im gonna do.. ill just chill.. and think of it in a positive perspective: i have studied the best i can, and i have gone thru a LOT remmbering all those long and hard of lessons. Soo yea if i do good tht'd be great, but if i dont then thts just too bad and i should just be ok with whtever result comes out.

Im pretty sure that everyone who uses the great-big internet would know and have used a web 2.0 in their life. And not even noticing. As defined in germworks.net/blog/2007/02/11/web-jargon-explained/,

a web 2.0 is a perceived or proposed second generation of the web. This is were the web has evolved and improved over time and now offers better and more up to date services like blogs, wiki’s, social networking sites etc.

Everyone knows Google, this oh-so famous website has much more than little of us know. It is so much more than an ordinary search engine. Not leaving the fact that this search engine is maybe the best i have ever used, and have been stuck with every day, Google also provides special services. This includes calendar, blogger, place to put and edit your photo, share friends, and some other numerous services. The best thing about it, they are save and sound placed in the internet, and can be accessed when you log on into the site. So all you have to do to have this pleasure of organizing things in internet rather than your notebook or documents stuffed to unorganized piles, is to make your account! In a simple form, when you get to insert your files (photos, videos, and other inputs) that is still counted as a web 2.0.
